Join the bis at Manchester Pride
March with the UK’s longest-running bisexual group at Manchester Pride this Saturday, as they celebrate their 21st birthday.
The parade is on the Saturday of Manchester Pride, which runs right across the bank holiday weekend.
Meet 11.30am on the roman fort near the Deansgate train / tram interchange, and wear shoes you’ll be comfortable walking in for a couple of hours – the parade may not be the longest in the world but it takes a while to complete!
The dress code is “wear purple”, and there are special purple-and-sparkle Manchester Bisexuals teeshirts available from BiPhoria for a few pounds each if you want to really look like you’re part of a bi bloc on the parade.
BiPhoria was launched on 1st September 1994 and has held frequent (at least monthly, usually more) bi social & support meetings ever since, as well as publishing research and other resources and providing speakers and training. It’s the longest-running bisexual group in the country.
