How Bi Is Your Region?

This year’s ONS household survey statistics show us the bi-est parts of Britain – and the places with the fewest bisexuals as a proportion of the population.

Surprisingly Northern Ireland comes out top, with 1% of the population there identifying as bi.

London and the South East come next at 0.7 to 0.8%.

One in two hundred are bi in Wales, the West Midlands, Yorkshire and the South West.

The North West, East Midlands and Scotland notch up just 0.3% of residents identifying as bi.

But the North East is where bis are rarest, at just one in five hundred people.
