BiFest returns to Swansea

BiFest Wales – an annual day-long event with discussion spaces, music and more – returns to Swansea this Saturday, 14th May.

The organisers describe BiFest as “a one-day event themed around bisexuality for anyone bi supportive and interested”.

Workshops segment will run in the daytime with social space, craft area, community information, and refreshments. 12 noon to 6pm.

The timetable for the day is:

2:15 – 2:45pm BREAK (refreshments and socialising in the Theatre)
2:45 – 3:30pm Looking for a B movie Fitting and Mis-fitting in communities
3:45 – 4:30pm Bisexuality and intersections with other identities Moving the In-Betweenness – Movement and creative arts workshop
4:45 – 5:30 pm Alternative subcultures and hate crime Games
6 -7:30pm BREAK for sound check – Only organisers and performers stay.
7:30pm – 11:45pm Live music event and DJs in the Theatre (main BiFest room)
