Your Bi Week: 5-11 September 2016
Welcome to our weekly roundup of bi events around the UK. Across the country every week there are get-togethers for bisexual people. They’re each a bit different (just like bis!) but they provide a space for you to meet other people and talk about being bi with people who, probably, “get it”.
Tuesday is the night for the “talky space” community centre meeting for Manchester bis, organised by long-running group BiPhoria. 7.30pm sharp start at the LGBT Foundation, 5 Richmond Street – the end nearer Piccadilly. More here.
Also that night Glasgow bisexual group meets at Terrence Higgins Trust (THT), 134 Douglas Street, Glasgow G2 4HF (beside Nando’s in Sauchiehall St) from 7pm. It’s part of BiScotland.
Wednesday, Edinburgh bisexual group meets at at the LGBT Centre on Howe Street from 7pm.
Nottingham take their turn on Thursday, with the BiTopia pub meet from 7.30pm. Lord Roberts pub on Broad Street. Look for the table with the rubber duck to find folk!
Manchester has a bi boardgaming night at LGBT Foundation, 5 Richmond Street, starting 7.30pm Friday. Bring your games along: it’s probably more Exploding Kittens than Scrabble.
Then Saturday at 3pm Brighton Bothways have a social meetup at The Yellow Book, 3A York Place, Brighton, BN1 4G.
And rounding the week off, Brum Bi Group will be at ‘Pink Picnic’ in King’s Heath Park, Birmingham on Sun 11 September, from 1pm.
Never been to a bi group before?
