BiCon sets a date!

BiCon will be in Lancashire for the third time in four years as it returns to the North West next summer.

After the past three national bi conferences were in Preston (Lancs), Leeds (Yorks), and Salford (Lancs, at least prior to the 1970s) next summer it comes to Lancaster.

The dates announced today are the 1st to 4th August. That’s a Thursday to Sunday – visitors from Scotland return home to a Bank Holiday Monday that doesn’t apply south of the border.

The annual event has run since 1984, and typically attracts between 300 and 450 bi people, friends, partners and allies for a long weekend of discussion workshops, speakers, music and more.

The likely next announcement will be pricing – BiCon pricing is based on a sliding scale relating to the income of attendees. Watch this space.
