Bi Resources

We are building an online set of bi resources here. There are also a variety of handy resources we'd recommend on two other bi websites:

Both Directions

Bisexuality - coming out and staying out. This is a 20 page booklet published by BCN and produced by the UK Bi Activist Network. In the first year it was available online we're delighted that over 3,700 copies were downloaded. The fourth edition has a few little tweaks to the layout and wording including the local groups info being up-to-date for 2008.

Download it today. As an Adobe Acrobat pdf document or a web page.

Bi Research

The Bi Research Group, formerly known as BiBlio, has published a report looking at who comes to BiCon based on the survey distributed at the Manchester one in 2004.

Read it as a pdf here.

Similar reports are expected on the BiCons in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 - in particular the 2008 survey had a high response rate. The initial 2008 survey report appeared in BCN issue 97.

A to Z of running a bi group

"A shame there isn't an A to Z of how to run a group" someone said on the uk-bi email list many moons ago. Nothing like a challenge, is there? Within a day, there was one.

Download it as a pdf.

Lobby Stonewall

In 2007, Bisexual Action had had enough of moaning about Stonewall - Britain's biggest LGB lobbying organisation - publishing reports and recommendations that seek only to change things for lesbians and gay men. As Stonewall believe the way to change minds is through sending postcards, they produced a postcard to lobby Stonewall to be more bi-inclusive.

The postcard is designed to be printed double-sided - print one side, flip over and print the other side so one side has the "tackling bisexual invisibility" logo and the other has the message to Stonewall. There were over 330 downloads of this resource in the four months from its launch.

Download here, print double-sided onto card, and distribute / mail in.
